Hello,
Welcome to Flash . Let us begin with the first lesson where we will have a brief introduction of the flash desktop.
- Open Flash.
- The typical flash desktop consist of tool bar attached to the left.
- Timeline at the top, below menu bar.
- Library palette towards lower right corner.
- Color palette at the top right corner.
- Please remember that the flash has its own language. They call “Panels” to “palettes”
- Go to Windows > Hide Panels or press F4
- All the panels disappeared.
- Bring them back by clicking Windows > Show Panels or pressing F4 again.
- The main rectangular default white colored area is called “Stage” where you will be doing all your animations.
- Property bar is at the bottom and its called “Property Inspector” in flash.
- Just click on Rectangle tool in the tool bar.
- You will notice that property inspector displays the options available for rectangle tool.
- We will be covering most general features in the coming lessons so that everyone having different versions of flash will be benefited with these lessons.
